The H Residence is an understated and innovative mixed-use project designed by tkdp in Al Safa, at the heart of the Jumeirah district, aiming to redefine urban living. Combining a sophisticated retail and F&B area, featuring Cipriani, NAC, and Maison Kitsune, with 37 high-end residential units, the low-rise development provides a human-scaled experience seamlessly integrating with the community.

Replacing a cherished 1980s retail structure, the project initially faced resistance that soon turned into unwavering support. A spacious 1,800 sqm public plaza at the heart of the development is accessible to all, with surrounding apartments, townhouses, and F&B units offering direct access and stunning garden views.

One of the most distinctive features of the central plaza is its sloping design, allowing for additional floors at the rear of the building while creating sufficient head-height for a bridge connecting the two wings. This approach also enhances privacy for the ground-floor townhouses facing the plaza and seamlessly connects the residents’ lobby with the main drop-off area, improving overall circulation and accessibility.

The H Residence’s two wings are connected by a 30m spanning bridge, exclusively accessible to residents, serving as a prime recreational area. On top of the bridge, a 300 sqm infinity pool offers panoramic views of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa, the plaza, and the sea.

The ground floor places strong emphasis on hospitality, featuring three high-end F&B operators with outdoor seating overlooking the plaza, alongside 25 two- and three-bedroom townhouses with private front yards and larger rear gardens directly connected to the plaza. The first floor boasts 8 spacious apartments, ranging from one to three bedrooms, offering smaller yet truly comfortable living spaces. Deep balconies provide privacy and sun shading, creating a serene and enjoyable environment. Specially designed vertical louvres adorn the façade, striking a balance between shade and natural light, while minimizing energy consumption for air conditioning. The H Residence is set to become a new and long-lasting beloved destination for both the local community and visitors alike, promoting inclusion whilst nurturing a new sense of belonging.
