This ancient town, with a profound historical heritage, has been a prosperous commercial hub since ancient times and enjoys the reputation of "Just as there are Suzhou and Hangzhou in the south, there is Shengfang in the north". Their architecture and layout reflect the traditional Chinese ideas of hierarchical superiority and inferiority, as well as the theory of Yin - Yang and the Five Elements. The owner of this project had the idea of building a quadrangle courtyard very early. The design of this project comprehensively considers the owner's needs for living in a quadrangle courtyard and spreading the opera culture. It aims to create a traditional Chinese quadrangle courtyard residence for the owner, and at the same time, provide a comprehensive space with traditional cultural attributes for surrounding residents and tourists, integrating functions such as cultural and artistic performances, photography, catering banquets, and leisure and entertainment. Eventually, a three - entrance Chinese - style quadrangle courtyard building with a side - yard, combining a private quadrangle courtyard residence and a comprehensive leisure and entertainment area, is designed.
