The site was created by merging two residential units. Thanks to the excellent natural lighting available and the owner's fondness for the New American style, the designers chose "various shades of white" as the main color scheme, aptly named "Misty White Merge." The project aimed to utilize white and light tones interwoven together to allow light to render a refined atmosphere. Details were carefully selected to include materials with reflective properties, such as thin slab tiles, quartz, glass, and brass handles, ensuring that, whether in daylight or under artificial lighting, the space offers rich layers and bright visual effects.

-Shades of White: In a space dominated by light tones, the designers employed various techniques such as layering materials and adding accent colors to transform a simple, pure space into one that is more intricate. The elegant and spacious layout makes white the sanctuary of visual experience. The natural textures of wood grain and stone convey a sense of elegant and casual living. Some furniture pieces are in shades of mauve or indigo as accents, introducing a subtle and refined elegance to the warm off-white space. This plan also resonates with the New American style's ethos of finding simplicity in complexity and uniqueness in simplicity.

-Blending Lifestyles: A home’s style reflects the resident's attitude towards life. In the social area, the project uses calm and soft color palettes to create a simple yet classic atmosphere. Moving to the private area, the color scheme shifts to a more intellectual grayscale ambiance. The master bedroom is enveloped in mauve upholstered walls, with moldings integrated to display a warm and soft resting area. The study, on the other hand, adopts a gray-coffee color scheme that, under bright and comfortable lighting, offers a flexible and dynamic space.
