Al Mar is an architectural experience shaped around the atmosphere of the sea, translated into a contemporary interior within the urban landscape of Mexico City.
Rather than reproducing a literal coastal setting, the project explores the feeling of being by the water through space, materiality, light, and a carefully composed palette. The architecture creates an environment that feels relaxed yet refined, where proportions, textures, and natural tones come together to establish a distinctive sense of place.
Every element contributes to a balance between warmth and simplicity. The result is a restaurant conceived not only as a setting for dining, but as an immersive environment in which architecture and atmosphere become part of the experience.
With 353 square meters, Al Mar demonstrates how a focused architectural language can transform a commercial interior into a memorable destination—one that evokes the openness and serenity of the coast while remaining deeply connected to its urban context in Mexico City.
