Onomura V transforms the dining experience into an immersive architectural journey, where space, light, and materiality converge to celebrate the essence of Japanese culture through a contemporary lens.



Located in Mexico City’s Santa Fe district, the restaurant was conceived as a carefully orchestrated sequence of environments that balance intimacy and openness. Every design decision—from the selection of materials to the modulation of light and shadow—was guided by the desire to create a refined atmosphere that enhances both social interaction and sensory perception.



The project embraces a restrained architectural language, allowing textures, proportions, and craftsmanship to become the primary protagonists. Warm materials, precise detailing, and a thoughtfully composed spatial layout generate a sense of calm and permanence, offering guests an experience that extends beyond dining.
