SENSE OF ELEGANCE

This project elegantly captures the unique rhythm of life and vibrant cultural essence of Chengdu, Sichuan. Inspired by the city's inherent grace, the design translates this sense of ease into thoughtfully proportioned spaces and perceptual cues, ultimately creating an environment where modern light luxury harmoniously blends with a calm and breathable everyday living experience. Moreover, through the innovative use of curved architectural forms, meticulously calibrated proportions, and a rich tapestry of material contrasts, the design not only addresses structural requirements but also enhances visual intrigue. As a result, this approach fosters a balanced interplay between aesthetic appeal and functional performance, ensuring a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that resonates with the spirit of Chengdu.



The layout gracefully unfolds from the open-plan living area, where smooth, rounded transitions between the ceiling, walls, furniture, and soft furnishings create a harmonious flow. These thoughtful design elements not only unify the space but also soften its overall rhythm, inviting a sense of comfort and ease. A striking feature wall, artfully combining natural stone with gently curved vertical beige slats, generates a captivating layered visual effect that appears to float effortlessly. Behind the sofa, a richly textured dark wood surface engages in a sophisticated dialogue with glass and metallic finishes. This carefully curated material composition beautifully balances cool and warm tones, as well as the interplay of solidity and transparency, creating a dynamic backdrop that enriches the atmosphere. Transitioning seamlessly into the dining area, one will notice that a central island serves as a vital connection between the living space and the kitchen. Here, an amber-toned semi-transparent glass screen acts as a stylish spatial interface, while metal display cabinetry and sculptural lighting establish an elegant and ritualistic ambiance for dining moments. This thoughtfully designed environment not only enhances functionality but also elevates everyday gatherings into memorable experiences.
