OMG! BURGER reimagines the fast-casual dining experience through a language of precision, playfulness, and brand-driven architecture. The interior fuses modernist rigor with bold, expressive gestures, creating an environment where every surface, proportion, and reflection speaks to the brand’s DNA of authenticity and joy.
At the center of the restaurant stands a long orange lacquered communal table, conceived as an icon of social gathering. Suspended above, a custom chandelier projects the brand’s logo, its reflection captured on both the tabletop and the mirrored ceiling. This mirrored plane extends the architectural drama, repeating the logo’s forms in a graphic composition that amplifies volume and injects a cinematic sense of infinity.
The material palette is precise yet evocative. Stainless steel brings clarity and durability, while Jean Prouvé–inspired porthole wall panels add rhythm and play, a contemporary homage to industrial modernism. Stained plywood wraps the walls, benches, and integrated merchandising niches, its warmth grounding the space. Burgundy chairs introduce sculptural depth, their rich hue balancing the vibrancy of the orange lacquer centerpiece.
Lighting is treated as an architectural material. Illuminated glass block walls diffuse a soft, ambient glow, while backlit lightboxes mark transitions and signage. A choreography of slim pendant fixtures introduces verticality, counterbalancing the horizontal expanse of communal and café seating. Together, these gestures compose a luminous environment that shifts seamlessly from daylight brightness to evening intimacy.
The self-service station becomes a sculptural moment: clad in playful blue and stained blue plywood, it recalls the silhouette of a friendly robot—functional yet charismatic, a subtle nod to hospitality’s evolving future.
OMG! BURGER transcends the conventions of a burger restaurant. It is conceived as a stage for urban ritual, where stainless steel precision, mirrored expansiveness, and crafted wood warmth converge with bursts of color and light. Democratic yet iconic, the space positions OMG! BURGER not only as a dining destination but as a cultural and architectural experience, signaling Houston’s emergence on the international design stage.
