This project presents an intricate design for a newly constructed residence, fundamentally anchored in the core theme of “the harmonious interplay of light, materials, and weaving.” By focusing on the daily routines and sensory experiences of the residents, the design aspires to cultivate a serene, understated, and inviting living environment. Additionally, the overall space thoughtfully integrates rattan-inspired elements, dynamic lighting, and a strategic application of negative space. These elements gracefully blend with neutral tones such as soft beige and warm latte, contributing to a cohesive aesthetic.
The layout masterfully emphasizes rhythm and integration, resulting in a harmonious living environment. The dining and living areas are seamlessly designed as a unified space, where the ceiling and floor gracefully merge to delineate each area while ensuring an uninterrupted flow. Eye-catching woven cabinets and inviting wooden walls draw attention, while the carefully placed indirect and accent lighting come together to enhance the overall sophistication of the space. In the master bedroom, it is elegantly adorned with a soft milk tea-colored suede paint finish that envelops the room in warmth, creating an intimate atmosphere that exudes calm and sophistication. The bed's headboard, featuring exquisite rattan weaving and gentle curves, adds a touch of artistry and subtle detail to the design. Furthermore, in the private area, a thoughtfully designed system-based storage wall showcases clean lines and efficient functionality, offering both practicality and aesthetic appeal. This innovative design also incorporates versatile lighting configurations, allowing the space to cater to diverse needs, whether it be for display, reading, or relaxation. Overall, this cohesive design approach not only elevates the aesthetic experience but also enhances the functionality of each space.
In this project, we thoughtfully incorporate a carefully curated selection of natural and durable materials, which not only extend the lifespan of the space but also significantly reduce the necessity for replacements over time. Furthermore, by maintaining the flexibility for future adjustments, we effectively lower renovation costs, thereby diminishing the environmental impact often associated with excessive remodeling.
