Anji-Kangshan "City Mystery Box" is a waterfront station in the Xitiaoxi River ecological wetland by Wuxiang Dam, Kangshan Village, Anji. Covering 3363㎡, it serves as a multifunctional waterfront leisure building. It integrates art exhibitions and recreation while nurturing natural ecology and cultural trends as a social venue.

Aligned with Kangshan-Tangpu’s "Integrated City-Industry Platform" plan, it activates ecological services through waterfront commerce, linking wellness, leisure, and cultural well-being for green economic development. Its diverse offerings fulfill aspirations for poetic living, ensuring sustainable ecology and commerce.

"Let architecture grow from nature" guides the design. Blending Chinese aesthetics with modern techniques, the structure integrates organically into the waterfront landscape. Bamboo-patterned facades echo Anji’s "Bamboo Township" heritage, merging tradition with contemporary form. Geometric forms engage with nature, creating an immersive waterfront experience.

Innovation & Differentiation:The project integrates natural ecology and trendy commerce, creating a "pop-up park" combining leisure, socialization, and consumption. Guided by Chinese aesthetics, the architecture blends geometric forms and modern materials to form a unique landmark. Green technology enables "development within protection," establishing a laid-back commercial environment coexisting with nature. This creates an innovative social space distinct from traditional commercial venues.

Functional Value:Adopting a "1+N" composite model, it offers multifunctional shared spaces: café, cultural retail, F&B, convenience station, and bars. This rural vitality hub integrates cultural exchange, ecological leisure, and creative consumption. Flexible layouts and green integration meet diverse needs, elevate rural living standards, strengthen urban-rural resource links, and serve as a key waterfront lifestyle destination.

Social Impact:Prioritizing ecological conservation, the project merges culture, commerce, and community functions to revitalize rural areas, establishing a new paradigm integrating nature, industry, and life. As a successful rural revitalization project, it promotes ecological feedback, green economy, and urban-rural linkage. It stands as a representative innovative waterfront commercial landmark within the Yangtze River Delta 3-hour transportation circle.
