Anchored in the interplay of wood and stone, the design integrates contrast and fusion of materials to create a home defined by calm and grandeur. The natural textures of stone, reminiscent of a splashed-ink landscape painting, establish a foundation of poise and restraint. Meanwhile, the mellow and delicate wood grain softens the rigid stone, achieving a balanced harmony between strength and gentleness within the space.

In the communal areas, traditional solid-wood Chinese style furniture sets the tone. The hand-carved textures embody the passage of time and cultural heritage. The spatial framework, however, unfolds through clean lines. With rhythmic blocks, linear detailing, transparent glass, and the dance of light and shadow, the gravity of traditional Chinese style transforms into a contemporary visual order. The elegance of Chinese aesthetics is no longer bound to intricate ornamental carving, but distilled into a quiet spirit that resides in the harmony of proportion and material. Framed by the windows, outdoor greenery reaches into the interior, extending the line of sight. Sunlit tree branches and leaves resonate with the stone and wood within, creating a balanced symbiotic relationship between interior design and environment. In the dining and kitchen areas, sliding doors define the boundaries. The use of transparent yet continuous glass allows light to flow seamlessly, while maintaining the independence of each function.

Both bedrooms are tailored to reflect the residents’ preferences. The master bedroom continues the warm wood hues, with ceiling and walls clad in timber. Softly diffused indirect lighting creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for sleep. The secondary bedroom embraces an American style. Detailed wall moldings and carved mirror frames convey elegance and refinement, imbuing the space with a tranquil, graceful atmosphere.
